Diaper and Food Drive at WVC on Nov. 19

The Wenatchee Valley College Student Nurses of Wenatchee (SNOW) club invites the community to help fill a trailer with diapers and food on Saturday, Nov. 19, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the WVC Smith Gym parking lot.

The club is requesting donations of canned food, non-perishable items, diapers and wipes. All donations will be given to Serve Wenatchee Valley to distribute for the holiday season. 

“Toiletries, diapers and wipes may not be purchased with food stamps and are always in demand” said Juan Miranda, office manager at Serve Wenatchee Valley.  “Right now, we have a need for protein items such as peanut butter and hamburger helper, also jelly and canned fruit.”
